Saoirse Johnston Gaffey is a director, shooter and photographer who graduated with honours in Film and Documentary from GMIT, and has been living the dream since then. She has been working professionally within the industry for the past four years and is highly experience working on both commercial and creative projects.

She has spent the last four years working in-house at Tiny Ark Studios, a Dublin based production studio specialising in high-end commercial, documentary and live production. Working here in a camera department capacity, functioning as the companies in-house Focus Puller and Loader. Working here gave her the opportunity to learn from the best and help to create stunning work for internationally known brands including Airbnb, Jameson, Powers, Amazon, Shopify, Stripe and Other Voices , to name a few..

She was recently moved into a creative role in Tiny Ark, giving her the opportunity to direct work for the company and to grow further as a filmmaker.

Her passion is directing, translating stories to visuals in an attempt to capture the heart. Over the last few years she has directed music videos for artists including Reylta and Ghosts and Leviathans, as well as directing work for Other Voices. 

Filmmaking for me is about connecting with people and spinning a yarn that sticks with you.
